Description

Institut Agro, Institut national d'enseignement supérieur pour l'agriculture, l'alimentation et l'environnement, was created on January 1, 2020 by the merger of Montpellier SupAgro and Agrocampus Ouest. The institute provides enhanced support to players in the agricultural and food industries to drive agro-ecological, food, digital and climate transitions through its contributions in training, research, innovation and support for agricultural technical education. It trains the engineers and researchers needed by professionals to make these transitions a success, improve our competitiveness and strengthen our international positioning. The Institut Agro also has a specific mission to support agricultural technical education, and is notably involved in disseminating agro-ecology in the agricultural high schools run by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
