AgroParisTech is the French National Institute for Life and Environmental Sciences and Industries, and operates under the authority of the French Ministry of Agriculture. A key player in higher education and research, this leading international institution works to address the major challenges of the 21st century: feeding humankind through sustainable land management, preserving natural resources, fostering innovation, and integrating the bio-economy. AgroParisTech trains executives, engineers, doctors, and managers in the field of life sciences and the environment by leveraging its research expertise and its ties to the professional world. It offers an engineering program, Master’s degrees, and Ph.D. programs in partnership with prestigious French and international universities, in addition to a range of continuing professional education programs made available under the “AgroParisTech Executive” brand. AgroParisTech has eight sites in mainland France and the French overseas territories (including one in the Greater Paris region), five educational and research departments, 22 research units, one experimental farm, one technology center, and five “InnLab” open collaborative spaces. It is home to more than 3,000 students and 250 faculty members, scientists and teachers. AgroParisTech is a founding member of Paris-Saclay University, a member of the ParisTech network, and a member of Agreenium.
